Anant संवाद
Anant Samvaad is a distinctive lecture series that brings together public policy and design thinking through expert-led conversations, interactive discussions, and participatory activities. Open to Anant students, faculty, staff, and students from other universities, the series makes complex policy issues engaging, accessible, and relevant to everyday life.
For each edition, CPRD partners with different design departments at Anant National University to curate sessions aligned with their courses, studio work, and ongoing classroom learning. By connecting policy themes with students’ areas of study, Anant Samvaad enables them to understand how governance and public policy influence design practices, professional decisions, communities, and wider social outcomes.
Organised around themes such as geopolitics, education, healthcare, sustainability, and other emerging issues, the series brings participants into conversation with policymakers, government professionals, bureaucrats, political leaders, and subject experts. It encourages them to examine how policies are developed and implemented, assess their impact and limitations, and recognise the important role policy plays across sectors and in daily life.

Anant नीति-ज्ञान is a newsletter by the Centre for Public Policy that brings timely and relevant insights on public policy, governance, government initiatives, and current affairs to Anant’s students, faculty, and staff.
Each edition presents a carefully curated selection of policy updates, news, and analysis designed to make complex developments accessible and engaging. By connecting academic learning with real-world policymaking, the newsletter encourages readers to understand how policies shape institutions, communities, and everyday life.
Through credible and thought-provoking content, Anant नीति-ज्ञान seeks to nurture a university community that is informed, curious, and actively engaged with the changing public-policy landscape. Reader feedback and suggestions are welcomed as part of its continued evolution.
Anant भ्रमण
Anant भ्रमण is an experiential learning programme that takes students beyond the classroom to explore places and practices connected with their academic disciplines. Through visits to textile clusters, rural communities, urban spaces, policy institutions, and design studios, students engage directly with real-world contexts.
CPRD partners with different departments to plan each भ्रमण according to their courses, ongoing classroom learning, and academic objectives. Typically organised over one to three days, every visit is customised to the interests and learning needs of the participating students.
The programme helps students connect theory with practice, understand diverse cultural and professional contexts, and interact with experts and local stakeholders. These immersive experiences encourage interdisciplinary learning, creative thinking, reflection, and the development of context-sensitive solutions.
Debate and Public Policy Club
The Debate and Public Policy Club, established by CPRD in collaboration with the Office of Student Services, provides a dynamic platform for students to engage with emerging issues and important public policy topics.
Through debates, film screenings, club fairs, meetups, and interactive discussions, students explore diverse perspectives and strengthen their understanding of contemporary issues. The club also helps them develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
